Selecting securities is the fourth step of the Investment Management Process, and as the title suggests it involves make specific investment decisions which collectively will make up your investment portfolio. Which stocks, bonds, and other securities of alternate asset classes will you select and why? This stage is critical, so always make sure you circle back and ensure it is consistent with the previous three steps.
